'Whilst there is still a lot of uncertainty surrounding the coming year, I am confident that with the amazing committee we have, RUMS Tennis will have another fantastic season. Like many of you I am excited to get back into playing tennis, and I'm looking forward to seeing both current and new members once term starts, whether it be online or in-person.'

'This club is basically the best one. I have met so many really genuine, lovely people and, against all odds, may have actually improved my tennis! If you like being alive, you'll love our club.'

'RUMS Tennis is a great society, not only for tennis players of any ability, but anyone who wants to be part of a social and caring environment throughout their university experience.
For this year, despite the personal challenges everyone is facing with the pandemic, I’m excited for RUMS Tennis to be able to provide a place for people to enjoy playing tennis socially or competitively and act as a fun and inclusive space for students to interact.'

'Joining the RUMS Tennis family enabled me to meet so many new people. The cross-year support amongst medics is so valuable and joining a sport society strengthens these connections. This year I'm looking forward to promoting sustainability within the club and organising volunteering events.'

'RUMS Tennis is a close-knit community and we have fantastic events throughout the year for all members of the club. In the coming year I'm really excited for the ATP matches, weekly sportsnights and the club tour.'

'Meeting up with RUMS Tennis whether it be on the court or not is always fun! It's also a great way to make friends in other years (and then you can use them to help you with uni work ;P). Next year I'm looking forward to our weekly socials, (maybe) improving my tennis and meeting all of you!'

'I've really enjoyed being a member of the club. Even if next year is very different to normal, I'm looking forward to running teaching sessions, hopefully in person but if not then online.'

'I love this society as I have been able to meet people from all the year groups. This club has made me feel at home amongst a thousand odd medical students. This is a very accepting society where no one feels left out. I look forward to leading the next generation of first team players to some BUCS successes.'
